Hello everyone!
Since I recently bought some points, I'm going to host a 2-week writing contest. Here are the details:
MEMBERS OF AFFILIATES ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE
*This is a "jackpot" contest, meaning the more entries we have, the higher the grand prize will be.
*Jackpot will start at 10 points.
*Contest entry fee is 25 points. Donate them to infinitelove143 and mention in the remarks that it's for the 11 3 2013 Written Life contest.
*For every 25 points donated, 20 points will be added to the jackpot.

After you have given me your contest entry fee of 25 points, do the following:
Write a piece of poetry or a short story containing the following:
*Involves a piano
*Contains a famous quote (mention author of the quote in footnotes)
*Involves the emotion of hysterical.
Submit your entry into the 11 3 2013 contest gallery folder by NO LATER THAN 11 18 2013.
After 11 18 2013, a 1-week voting period will begin where you'll vote on which entry should get the jackpot prize. If you vote, you will be given 3 points.
After 11 25 2013, the winner will be announced and the jackpot prize will be given to that winner.

This week, submit a short story in the "Weekly Writing Challenge" folder based on the following scenario:
*You visit a parallel universe. In this universe, your significant other possesses the opposite traits of what he/she/they possess in reality. In the parallel universe, you are in love with this significant other every bit as much as you are with your significant other in real life. Make a short story describing an encounter with your significant other in this parallel universe.

Group Revival
Hello everyone.
Sincere apologies for letting this awesome group go to inactivity. I've been away from DeviantART for a while due to school, work, and other life events. However, I'm a bit more active on DA now. Thus, I'm going to attempt to revive the group some more.
Expect more writing challenges in the future, except I first have to figure out how I'm going to do them; the DA permissions thing has always been frustrating for me.
Those of you who still have pending submissions; I am going through them bit by bit... oldest first. If any of your submissions end up expiring, please re-submit them so I can take a look.

I'm back, need a mod, writing challenge
So much has been happening in my life. I apologize for my inactivity. I am asking for someone to be a co-founder who will help me keep this group active. If interested please contact me ASAP.
In the mean time, I'm adding a new rule where if you'd like to submit to the featured gallery and have your work featured for a minimum of 14 days, a 30 point donation is required. These points will go towards contests and weekly challenges.
